She has won awards from the John G. Blank Center for the Arts, the Blanden Memorial Art Museum, and the Northern Indiana Arts Association, among many others. TAGLIERI has exhibited extensively and her work resides in numerous public and private collections.

TAGLIERI'S paintings reflect the sky—for her, it is a symbol of infinity. Using the imagery of clouds to translate light, her work (in all its glowing, ethereal beauty) becomes a negotiation between the real and the abstract. TAGLIERI does not shy away from the idea of beauty, and her paintings hearken back to the Classical notion of the beautiful, portraying the heavens as a metaphor for the sublime and the infinite.

Exhibiting a marked sensitivity and care, TAGLIERI'S mirrorlike surfaces embody a staggering variety of colors, built from successive layers of transparent oil glazes. Paradoxically, her illusive subject matter is painted on the hard surface of a block of wood.
